What certifications does VALIDOC offer in Belgium?

Answer: VALIDOC organizes VCA Basic (B-VCA) and VCA Supervisor (VOL-VCA) examinations, and certifies professional competences for high-risk tasks including forklift operation (IS-001), aerial work platforms (IS-005), fall protection (IS-009) and scaffolding inspection (AV-022), under the official BeSaCC-VCA scheme.

Independence and impartiality

VALIDOC operates independently from any training or consultancy organization. We provide no training in the schemes we certify.

Our shareholders have experience in the training sector through legally separate entities. VALIDOC itself has no training activity. This structural separation is the foundation of our impartiality.

Safeguards protecting the integrity of our certification decisions include:

  • organizational separation from all training activities
  • a documented conflict of interest policy
  • transparent governance and decision-making procedures
  • confidentiality commitments from all staff involved in certification

Définition Certification

An independent certification body evaluates and certifies competences without being involved in training or consultancy in the same field. This independence guarantees the impartiality of the certificate and its credibility with clients, auditors and contracting authorities.

Quality and accreditation

VALIDOC holds the Qfor quality certification, the Belgian quality label for assessment and evaluation organisations.

ISO/IEC 17065 implementation

We are implementing a management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065, the international standard for bodies certifying products, processes and services. This implementation covers:

  • governance and impartiality framework
  • separation of evaluation and certification decision functions
  • conflict of interest management
  • complaint and appeal procedures
  • documented and auditable certification processes

An internal audit is planned for July 2026 as part of this implementation process. We are preparing our accreditation with BELAC, the Belgian national accreditation body, as the next formal step.

REDcert-EU

We intend to extend our certification activities to sectoral sustainability schemes, including certification under REDcert-EU. The ISO/IEC 17065 framework currently being implemented provides the governance foundation required for this extension.

Accreditation roadmap

Qfor (active) → ISO/IEC 17065 implementation (in progress, internal audit July 2026) → BELAC accreditation → REDcert-EU certification extension.

On-site examinations

VALIDOC can organize examination sessions directly at client premises across Belgium. This option is available for VCA examinations and for all high-risk task certifications (IS-001, IS-005, IS-009, AV-022).

On-site sessions are organized on a quote basis, depending on the number of candidates, location and examination type.
